About

Loyola Productions is a Los Angeles-based, nonprofit creative media company that builds on the more than 450-year-old Jesuit tradition of effective involvement in the communication arts. Our focus is on projects that capture the imagination, invite reflection, stimulate personal growth, and engage communal, spiritual, or even religious sensibility. By producing and distributing quality works, we illuminate the human experience so that people may come to a deeper understanding of themselves and the world. Thus, we believe, people can engage with greater confidence and insight into the joys and struggles of human life.

Our Story

Shortly after finishing his MFA degree and working on acclaimed projects like the television series Nothing Sacred with ABC/20th Century Fox, Eddie Siebert dreamed of creating a production company that would be the go-to service provider of media needs for Jesuit and Catholic institutions, as well as non-profit organizations. It was then in 2000 that Loyola Productions, Inc. was born on the campus of Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.

As LPI expanded, it moved to Downtown LA where it broadened its production repertoire to include educational materials, teaming up with Loyola Press in Chicago. After moving to Culver City in 2007 the company grew rapidly, building up its production team and taking on a multitude of exciting projects that spanned over seas leading to the establishment of its sibling companies Loyola Munich and Loyola TV Zambia.

As times and technology changed, LPI moved back to LMU in 2017 to continue in its evolution. Having come full circle, Loyola Productions is once again poised to re-imagine and re-engage its passion of reaching the wider audience in mainstream programming that entertains and inspires hearts and minds.
